Taken from LIS-E-RESOURCES (JISC List Serv):

"IOP Publishing is now fully Shibboleth compliant in the UK.

Be assured that access via Athens and IP addresses will still continue to be available for institutions who are not Shibboleth compliant. Please contact our Customer Service Department at custserv@iop.org us if you have any questions about this or any other aspect of our Shibboleth compliancy."

Interestingly, they go on to say that:

"Our next steps will be to start work with other international federations in response to demand from our customer base. If you belong to a Shibboleth federation and would like to be able to access your subscribed IOP Publishing content via Shibboleth, please contact me at laura.shaw@iop.org."
